Privacy notice
Last updated 8 October 2026
This notice explains what Lirris collects through this website, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. If you have a question about it, email us at hello@lirris.com.
Who we are
Jacques Marais runs Lirris from Cape Town, South Africa, and is responsible for the details you share here. Our postal address is PostNet Suite #256, Private Bag X22, Tyger Valley, 7536, South Africa.
What we collect
When you apply for early access, we collect your work email address, your product’s website, anything you tell us about what you’d want to test and your agreement to be contacted. Giving us these details is voluntary, but we need your email address and website to consider your application. We also save the site that sent you here and the tag on the link you followed, if there was one, so we can see which of our posts and emails are useful.
Cloudflare hosts this website and processes technical details, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, and we count a few actions on the site, such as clicks on its buttons and sent applications, along with the page, the site that sent you and your country. These counts don’t use cookies, we don’t keep your IP address with them, and we never use cookies for advertising.
How we use it
We use your application to see whether early access is a good fit, to contact you about it and to set Lirris up with you if you join. We never sell your details or use them for advertising.
Where it’s stored
Applications are stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare, and a copy of each one is emailed to us. Cloudflare also keeps the visit and click counts. Cloudflare and our email provider may process this information outside South Africa.
How long we keep it
We keep your application for as long as we need it to discuss early access with you. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them or delete them, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. Email hello@lirris.com and we’ll respond within a month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. In South Africa, that’s the Information Regulator.

If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
